Meet Maddie – Your Sweet, Curious, and Cuddle-Loving Kitten! Maddie is an adorable girl who combines curiosity with calmness, making her the perfect balance of playful and laid-back. She loves everyone she meets—people, dogs, and cats alike. Her playful streak keeps things fun, and when she's done exploring, she’s always ready for some cuddle time. If you’re looking for a kitten who will brighten your days with playfulness and snuggle up with you at night, Maddie is your girl! Maddie is fully vetted. She has been spayed, dewormed, vaccinated (age appropriate), microchipped, and is FIV/FELV negative. Her adoption donation is $175.00. She is on the hunt for her own completely committed family. Cats can live to be 25 years old, so Maddie wants to be sure all applicants will stick with her for better or for worse! PLEASE NOTE: Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs! Some cats also require mates. The pairing is for proper socialization of the kitten to prevent Single Kitten Syndrome. This is for the kitten's future as much as yours. Maddie is under 6 months old. We adopt in the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maddie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maddie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Maddie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maddie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
