Meet Millie – Your Fierce, Bold, and Affectionate Kitten! Millie is a fierce little girl with a bold personality and a heart full of love! Outgoing and adventurous, she’s always the first to explore new surroundings and make new friends—whether they’re people, dogs, or other cats. But don’t let her boldness fool you—Millie is also incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle up after a day of play. If you’re looking for a kitten who’s full of life and affection, Millie is the perfect addition to your family! Millie is fully vetted. She has been spayed, dewormed, vaccinated (age appropriate), microchipped, and is FIV/FELV negative. Her adoption donation is $175.00. She is on the hunt for her own completely committed family. Cats can live to be 25 years old, so Millie wants to be sure all applicants will stick with her for better or for worse! PLEASE NOTE: Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs! Some cats also require mates. The pairing is for proper socialization of the kitten to prevent Single Kitten Syndrome. This is for the kitten's future as much as yours. Millie is under 6 months old. We adopt in the local Chicago metro area. We require home visits. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Millie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Millie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Millie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Millie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
