About this Dog
** I'M FROM A HOARDING SITUATION. IT WILL TAKE TIME AND PATIENCE FOR ME TO ACCLUMATE TO MY NEW HOME ** ** I NEED TO GO TO A HOME WITH ANOTHER DOG ** I AM IN FOSTER CARE! PLEASE FILL OUT OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION. ONCE APPROVED, PLEASE EMAIL US ( [email protected] ) OR GIVE US A CALL AND WE CAN SET UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR YOU TO MEET ME! Born: January 08, 2021 I am 15lbs and I am looking for my forever home. Adoption Donation: $400 Meet Cora, a beautiful Sheltie/Corgi mix looking for her forever home. She came to AHS from a difficult situation where people weren’t kind to her, so learning to trust will take time. However, she’s making progress every day. Cora needs a special home with patient, understanding adopters who will give her the time she needs to feel safe. She thrives around other dogs, as they help build her confidence, so a home with canine companions would be ideal. Due to her shy nature, Cora would do best in an adult-only home. Do you have the love and patience to help Cora blossom into the happy, confident dog she’s meant to be? She’s waiting for the right person to show her kindness and help her feel safe at last. All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown. We look forward to seeing you soon! 100% of Cora's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Cora.
Adopt Cora and Receive Cora's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cora's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Cora's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Cora, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Cora's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cora was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cora’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cora’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cora’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
