Coming from a hoarding situation, she’s still learning to trust and adjust to a world where love and kindness are constant. She may be shy at first, but with time, patience, and a little encouragement, she begins to warm up and show her sweet nature. She finds comfort in the company of other cats and would do best in a home with a feline friend to help her feel safe. Virgo is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can build confidence at her own pace. If you have a soft spot for shy cats and the patience to help Virgo blossom, she could be the perfect addition to your home. Are you the one to give her the love and security she deserves? All cats are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment (unless your dog has had prior exposure to cats). A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Virgo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Virgo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Virgo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Virgo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
