My name is Treasury, I have the most beautiful eyes. I'm very sweet but a little shy at first. I love other cats and kittens and would really enjoy a playmate in my forever home. I also would probably be fine with dogs with the right introduction, and they were a calmer, respectful dog. I'm fine with older kids but little kids are too much for me. I am very motivated with treats and love to play with toys and my siblings. I am very calm for a kitten and enjoy curling up in the sun but once I get to know you I love to snuggle (and I sometime nibble a little). I came into the rescue with my brother and sister when we were found at a Farm and Fleet. Thankfully this rescue had a momma cat who adopted us until we were weaned and now we are ready for our own homes. We are fixed, up to date on vaccines, and chipped. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Treasury was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Treasury’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Treasury’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Treasury’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
