Tails is approximately 7-8 months old and weighs about 40lbs. She is a reserved girl who will excel with someone who has time to devote to making her the best pup she can be! Foster Update: Tails is a high energy pup that would do best with an active person or couple and a dog friend to play with and for building her confidence would be perfect. She is nervous around kids, so a home without children will be best. She has been around cats - but can play rough with them. House, crate and leash training are in progress. Tails is very food motivated which will be a big benefit with obedience training. She gets nervous in new environments, so a double leash is suggested when out and about and a fenced yard for her to exercise and play for her safety would be ideal. She has so much potential and just needs someone to provide attention, affection and to continue assisting in building her confidence. We recommend training for all our puppies! **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment. Thank you for your interest! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tails was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tails’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tails’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tails’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
