Nancy was found as a stray with her buddy Patsy. They were turned into local animal control, and unfortunately, never reclaimed so we welcomed them into the Mutts family! She is estimated to be about 2 years old, near 50lbs and is a sweet girl that is both house and crate trained. She gets along with other dogs and loves attention too! Nancy arrived with some muscle loss/weakness in her rear legs due to poor nutrition and not being well taken care of. As of July 1, her strength and muscle tone has improved and she is walking normal now - it is amazing how good nutrition, exercise and proper care can work wonders! **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment. Thank you for your interest! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Nancy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Nancy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Nancy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Nancy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
