Mija was born 5/27/24 making her about 1 year old, weighing approximately 40-45 lbs and has made the journey from Lebanon into our care for us to help her find her forever home. Mija is pretty shy/timid with people and will require a doggy friend and 6' fenced yard to keep her safe and happy. She is in a foster home with another dog and she uses him for confidence, to learn how great it is to be in a home and that all people are not scary . She will do best in a quieter home with someone who is home more often than not to work on her trust of people and confidence issues. "BETA" Beirut for the ethical Treatment of Animals is a long time partner with Mag Mutts and does amazing work rescuing animals from the absolute worst situations imaginable that most humans cannot fathom even occur. Mija's adoption donation is $300.00 **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment. Thank you for your interest! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mija B was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mija B’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mija B’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mija B’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
