Hi, my name is Thunder and I'm about 8 weeks old. I am called Thunder because my brother Rain and I were found by a really nice lady in the middle of a thunder storm. The lady took my brother and me to the shelter, and we went home with another nice lady who fed us bottles , even in the middle of the night, until we were big enough to eat big kid food. My eyes were matted shut and were oozing yucky stuff. Our new foster mom cleaned us all up and put medicine in our eyes. It didn't take long and we were the picture of health! I love to run around the room and chase balls with bells, pom pom balls, and my brother. When my foster mom picks me up, I purr right away. I love to be held and petted. I will give you nose bumps, too! I am available for immediate adoption. I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Thunder was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Thunder’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Thunder’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Thunder’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
