Hi, my name is Fantasia and I'm 10 years old. I was originally rescued when I was about 6 weeks old. Me and my litter mates were abandoned by our owner. I was the only one of the litter that survived. I have been at Bond County Humane Society since I was rescued. I have lived in a foster home for awhile, but I was not comfortable and never acclimated to the environment so I came back to the shelter. I live in a community room with other cats and get along with all of them. I am friendly and playful in my normal environment. I like to play with a few of the other cats in my community room. I am very shy once I'm taken out of my environment. I do tilt my head to one side a lot. I have been seen by a veterinarian, but no cause has been determined for the tilt. I am available for immediate adoption. I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and microchipped. My adoption fee is by donation. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Fantasia was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Fantasia’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Fantasia’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Fantasia’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
