About this Dog
*** Check Out My Video Album Below! *** Garfield is a happy, smiley character who loves anyone who will pet him and tell him how beautiful he is. He’s a lover of car rides, and sticking his head out the window, and his favorite toy is a tennis ball. He is leash-trained and housebroken and doesn’t really like the crate, but will go into it on command. He’s learning his other commands, and has mastered a “shake” with both paws, “sit,” and “down.” Garfield loves to play with other dogs, including large and small dogs, and would do best in a home with a canine buddy. A 4-foot fenced in yard would be awesome for running around and wrestling with his friends! A dog-savvy, playful cat could be fun too! He loves meeting new people to get even more ear scratches and belly rubs. He dislikes the full flight of basement stairs, but is fine on a half-flight, so he could probably be convinced to learn longer runs of steps, especially if there is cheese or animal crackers involved! He’s a total love bug who adores cuddling (he’ll even let you be the Big Spoon!), and he can’t wait to find an active family who will include him in all the fun! - Written by M.M.
