About this Dog
Rosealyn "Rosie" is a female redbone coonhound estimated to be born Sep 19 2023. She currently weighs about 14lbs but is estimated to be around 35-40lbs when full grown. She is a sweet snuggler who is loving her new pampered life of cuddles, cozy blankets, and working for treats. She will easily melt your heart when snuggling nearby when she sleeps but when she is awake she wants to play, run and chew on all her toys. She currently has 3 young foster siblings who she loves to play with and is very patient with but is learning to keep her puppy teeth to the toys only when she is playing, so a home with children over 5 would be best for now. She has shown no aggression around her food when people are close by and has a huge appetite. Hounds are very social and do best with other dogs in the home so naturally she loves playing with other dogs both big and small and will show you just how fast and outgoing she is when around them! A home with a fence is pretty crucial because this girl is not only curious but fast too and her nose has no boundaries. If you are a runner you are in luck, she will make an excellent running buddy! Rosealyn is not yet comfortable with eating her food around other dogs. She does not have much interest in cats as she would much rather play with her people, dog friends, and toys. Rosealyn is working hard on potty training and is currently using puppy pads. She does a great job going potty outside on command as soon as we go outside. While she had some medical emergencies early on, now that she is feeling better she is very quickly learning to walk on a leash, follow the command "sit", and respond to her name when called. She is a very smart girl who is starting to show her need for independence and exploration and would love someone who can keep her active and mentally stimulated while also being open to affection and snuggles. If you are interested in adopting/meeting , please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application . Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet! The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed! *please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.

Adopt Rosealyn and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Rosealyn's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Rosealyn's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Rosealyn, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Rosealyn's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rosealyn was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rosealyn’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Rosealyn’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rosealyn’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
