My name is Pablo and I am the best boy! My vet called me a specimen at my last visit, so that should tell you something. I love people and I am a cuddle monster. If you are sad, I am there to help ease your woes and when you are happy…I am happy right along with you! I love to run and I am fast. Give me something squeaky to retrieve! I know basic commands like sit, stay, drop it, come here & place. Mom says I have near perfect recall (sometimes I get distracted but I always end up listening). Like I said…the best boy. I have experience with an electronic collar but I rarely need it (remember I said near perfect recall?) Now, I will admit, that I am a little picky about the canine company I keep. I don’t buddy up to just any dog, personality important to me! I have hung out with a cat and we got along purrfectly, so maybe I could have another kitty friend. Not to toot my own horn but I am the perfect weight for my build (50 lbs) and I have excellent muscle tone. I am a specimen after all. Mom has taken really good care of me and is so sad to have to let me go. She knows that the right person will find me and give me the life I deserve! By the way...Mom will give my new family my crate, cushion & toys. I also have some really cool shirts & sweatshirts that I like to wear that Mom will give you. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pablo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pablo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Pablo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Pablo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
