About this Cat
This little kitty needs a safe loving space. We've become unhoused, leading us to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome our beloved 15-year-old companion, Pie. She’s been our steady source of comfort through numerous moves, losses, and life changes—always offering her soft, affectionate presence when we needed it most. Pie is a rare dwarf cat, forever kitten-sized with a playful spirit and a calm, loving nature. Rescued as a baby from under a porch, she’s remained curious and spry, and though she’s tiny, she’s surprisingly graceful and alert. She’s never scratched or bitten, even when startled, and has a gift for showing up at just the right moment—curling beside you during hard times or gently nudging your hand as if to say, “I’m here.” She comes from a neurodivergent household and has always offered quiet comfort during tough emotional moments, instinctively staying close without overwhelming. She’s the perfect work-from-home companion, happy to perch nearby and purr softly while you work. Right now, what Pie needs most is a stable, loving home—and access to healthcare. She’s been losing weight and showing signs of poor circulation, likely due to untreated hyperthyroidism, a common and manageable condition in senior cats. The stress of our current situation is making her symptoms worse, and we know she needs more care than we can give. Letting her go is heartbreaking, but we want her to have the comfort, medical attention, and loving home she deserves. If you’re looking for a deeply affectionate, emotionally attuned companion who gives so much love in return, Pie is waiting to meet you. **** Breed: tuxedo **** Pet Link: https://www.nokillnetwork.org/adoption/pet_detail.php?petid=2185607&flag=1

Adopt Lola Pie and Receive Lola Pie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lola Pie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Lola Pie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Lola Pie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Lola Pie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lola Pie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lola Pie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lola Pie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lola Pie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
