About this Dog
Timber came into the shelter as a stray along with Trixie. Like all strays, we have no history for him and we are learning more about him every day. What we know so far is that he is very sweet and loves to go on walks! Timber loves to be brushed and had a spa day with one of our volunteers that bathed and brushed him. Timber and Trixie were brought in when they happened into a families yard while their small children and a cat were hanging out. Timber went after the cat and stole food from the children’s hands. Trixie did not seem to mind the children or the cat. Although Timber does not go potty in his small indoor kennel, he does have a tendency to pee in new areas. We believe that he and Trixie were probably outside dogs. Timber is about a year old. Stop on by and see this beautiful young boy in person! All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. Please fill out an application if you are interested in this dog or call us today for more information Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in. Adopt Timber and Receive Timber's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Timber's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Timber's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Timber, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Timber's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Timber was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Timber’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Timber’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Timber’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
