About this Dog
Trixie came into the shelter as a stray along with Timber. Like all strays, we have no history for her and we are learning more about her. What we know so far is that she is very sweet and loves to snuggle! Trixie travels well in a car and was no trouble at all going to the vet. She loves hanging out with our volunteers and going for walks. She greets everyone with her "Wooo, wooo, wooo!" Trixie and Timber were brought in when they happened into a families yard while their small children and a cat were hanging out. Trixie did not seem to mind the children or the cat. Trixie is estimated to be 8-9 years old. Although Trixie does not go potty in her small indoor kennel, she does have a tendency to pee in new areas. We believe that she and Timber were probably outside dogs. As we learn more about her we will update her bio. Until then, stop on by and see this sweetheart in person. All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. Please fill out an application if you are interested in this dog or call us today for more information Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in. 100% of Trixie's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Trixie.
Adopt Trixie and Receive Trixie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Trixie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Trixie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Trixie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Trixie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Trixie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Trixie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Trixie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Trixie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
