About this Dog
Buster is a one year old Australian Shepherd. Unfortunately, his family needed to surrender him because they could not keep him from jumping their four foot fence. The owner says he is good with everyone - including children, dogs and cats! He may be a bit shy when you first meet him, but he warms up quickly to you. Buster has not been around livestock, he has been a family pet. Buster needs a higher fence to keep him secure in your yard. He's not a fan, like most dogs, of fireworks so it is best to keep him securely inside during firework season. He does use a dog door to go outside and is also house trained. He is treat-motivated to learn new tricks! Buster is leash trained, knows how to shake hands, sit, and fetches. Buster loves his toys! Buster's owner kept him up to date on his vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. Please fill out an application if you are interested in this dog or call us today for more information Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in. 100% of Buster's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Buster.
Adopt Buster and Receive Buster's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Buster's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Buster's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Buster, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Buster's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Buster was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Buster’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Buster’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Buster’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
