About this Cat
The Porterdale babies were a late night animal control call as they were found in a box in someone’s yard in Porterdale, about 2.5 weeks old, malnourished, goopy eyes, the whole picture of abandonment. I happened to be on the way home that night about to pass the road to the shelter when the on-call officer texted, so I made the turn and picked them up immediately. They were named after several of the prominent family members who were instrumental in founding the town of Porterdale. Phillips is the dark longhair tabby boy - at a glance from the back, he looks nearly black, but from the front he dazzles you with his stunning facial markings. We LOVE seeing our babies adopted in pairs… having a familiar sibling/buddy helps ease their transition to a new home, and gives them a constant companion for life.
