Meet Nerf, a sweet and loving boy looking for his forever family! He is a Pitbull/Lab mix, estimated to be around 3yr old, and weighs just 35lbs. He was saved from an overcrowded Atlanta shelter and has many old scars that hint at a sad and hard past life. Nerf starts off a bit timid and shy, and will look at you with soulful eyes that are just yearning for love! He has expressive ears and the cutest white-tipped paws you've ever seen! Nerf is both dog and cat friendly - he currently lives with 2 Yorkies, a Doodle, and 2 cats in his foster home! He has a low energy level, but loves a game of fetch and playing with toys! He is house trained, crate trained, and knows his basic commands. He is reserved at first and can be uncertain of new noises and people. A family who understands a timid dog, and will take their time to help him build his confidence would be amazing for this special boy! Nerf would do great in a home with or without other dogs. He'd love to have a fenced yard, but this is not a requirement. He would likely do well in a condo or townhouse. Nerf is gentle, loyal, and will make a wonderful companion for a lucky person/family! Nerf is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Nerf's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Nerf was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Nerf’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Nerf’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Nerf’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
