Meet Colton Lee, a handsome Lab mix looking for his perfect match! This gentle boy is estimated to be around a year old, and weighs just 34lbs - he looks like a mini Lab! Colton Lee (fka Cola) was saved by BarkVille Dog Rescue right before he was scheduled for euthanasia at an overcrowded Atlanta shelter. Initially he was shy and very shut down, but since spending time in his foster home he is now blossoming into a happy and loving boy! His foster Mom reports that he loves the company of other dogs, cats, and people! He is crate trained, potty trained, and is eager to please. Colton Lee has a medium energy level and loves to go on leisurely walks around the neighborhood to get sniffs and take in all the sights. He would love a home with another calm dog, and would prefer a fenced yard. He is submissive by nature, has a calm demeanor, and just wants to be loved by his people! Colton Lee will make a wonderful companion for a lucky family. Colton Lee is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cola was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cola’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cola’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cola’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
