Hudson is a stunning Labrador Retriever/Beagle mix looking for his forever family! This gentle giant was born on July 25, 2023, and currently weighs 80lbs. He will mature to be an X-large size dog, and could weigh around 100lbs. Hudson was living outside with his littermates in poor conditions when he was surrendered to BarkVille Dog Rescue. His foster Mom says he is very loving, gentle, listens well for his young age and is the best snuggler! Hudson is both dog and cat friendly, and loves to play with dogs of all sizes! He is a very smart boy and a quick learner- he will do just about anything for a treat! He is house and crate trained, knows basic commands, , and does well on a leash. Since he will grow to be X-large, he will need a family that will provide him with strong leadership and continued training. A home with a fenced yard and another playful and friendly dog is preferred. He can be shy in new situations and a fur buddy will show him the ropes and help him build confidence. Due to his size, a home with older children will be best. Hudson will be neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped prior to an adoption being finalized. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hudson 2 was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hudson 2’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Hudson 2’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Hudson 2’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
