Shannon is a young athletic Rottweiler/ Pointer mix looking for her forever family! She has a beautiful coat, and an athletic build! Shannon is estimated to be around 1yr old, and weighs 55lbs. She is dog friendly, and very playful. Shannon is working on her house training, crate training, and is learning her basic commands. She has a sweet and friendly personality. This deserving girl was picked up as a stray, then ended up at Walton Animal Control. She soon came down with a respiratory illness. BarkVille Dog Rescue pulled her, and she is now fully healthy and vetted, and ready for her forever family. Shannon has a medium energy level, and would benefit from a family who will provide her basic training and regular exercise. She can jump very high, and will need a tall privacy fenced yard, and owners who will keep an eye on this mischievous girl. Shannon would likely excel with agility training! Since she still needs to fine tune her manners, no small kids for this girl. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Shannon was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Shannon’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Shannon’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Shannon’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
