Effy is an adorable Chihuahua/Corgi Mix looking for her forever family! She was born 6-18-23, and weighs just 22lbs. This deserving girl had a rough start to life, as she was rescued from a hoarding case in Floyd County, GA along with her best friend Bryn (dark). She is learning all about the good life in her foster home and is thriving! Effy is gentle, sweet, and timid. She is eager to explore and play, and loves to sit in your lap. She's a quick learner and has picked up on her house training, crate training, and walks great on a leash. Her foster Mom says she has the best personality - she is silly and fun loving, and will keep you laughing all the time! Effy is good with other dogs, and is likely cat friendly too (would need to be tested). She is a bonded pair with Bryn (dark), and they will need to be adopted together. Effy needs a fenced yard, and would do well in any household. Effy is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Effy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Effy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Effy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Effy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
