Aluna is a beautiful and intelligent girl in immediate need of a foster or adopter to bust her out of boarding! BarkVille Dog Rescue saved Aluna from being euthanized at an overcrowded shelter, but she is still in need of a home where she can feel safe and loved! BarkVille Dog Rescue covers all medical costs for our dogs while they are in foster homes. Aluna is a 55lb red and white Bulldog/Mix with the most adorable face you've ever seen! She is dog friendly, and loves to play and run around a fenced yard! Aluna is a quick learner, and picks up on training quickly! She is energetic due to being stuck in boarding, however she settles down after a quick walk. She is eager to please and would excel with a person (or family) who has basic leadership experience and can provide her structure and basic training. BarkVille Dog Rescue can also provide training resources if necessary. Aluna is a fantastic girl, and will make a wonderful addition to a lucky family! It is likely that Aluna is house trained, and she enjoys going for car rides. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Aluna's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Aluna was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Aluna’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Aluna’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Aluna’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
