About this Dog
Meet Juno — a gentle giant looking for his forever family.
Juno is a beautiful 4-year-old Great Pyrenees with a sweet, calm spirit and an enormous capacity for love. He is happiest simply being near his people—lounging nearby, soaking up attention, and being part of everyday family life. He has that wonderful Great Pyrenees presence: big, peaceful, affectionate, and incredibly loyal.
Juno is house trained and leash trained and knows several commands, including sit, lay down, paw, and shake. He is good with children, cats, and smaller dogs and has no history of biting or aggression. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and current on heartworm prevention.
Juno does experience anxiety when separated from his people and during car rides. He currently takes prescribed anxiety medication twice daily, and approximately two months of medication will be provided with him. Outside of those situations, he is a wonderfully chill, easygoing dog. His biggest day-to-day requirements are regular brushing, love, attention, and being close to his family.
Most importantly, Juno is not losing his home because of anything he has done. His family is going through a divorce combined with a military relocation, and neither of his owners is able to take him into their next living situation. He is currently staying safely with family, but unfortunately we cannot keep him long-term.
Juno has been deeply loved, and we desperately want this difficult chapter in his life to end with something beautiful: a safe, stable home and a person or family who will love him for the rest of his life.

This is to ensure that the home is a good match and this dog was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, this dog’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the this dog’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, this dog’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
