About this Dog
Hi. My name is Jude. No, I can't claim credit for helping the Beatles compose the song, HEY JUDE. They did that all by themselves. I'm a very adorable brown, tan, white 8-yearold Brittany spaniel. I was tethered to a tree for a long time and have a permanent scar around my neck to prove it. It took me several months to let people pet me and to be adoptable. After a year of training, I have nearly perfect recall. I also know the commands "get off", "lay down", and "wait." I think these skills will help me to be housebroken in my new home. I love to catch anything from toys, to treats, to medication. I also have an active imagination, thinking sometimes what It would be like to talk to a butterfly, a ladybug and even a human. .Humans fascinate me. I want to comfort them, kiss and lick their faces. I would do best in a home with experienced rescuers who have no children. I still like to put my mouth on the hands of a person petting me. Although I do this gently, little humans could be frightened. If you command me to get off, I will do my best to stop this and back away. But please praise me as I start to improve. Being told I am engaging in the right behavior will encourage me to please you. I mostly ignore dogs that come in range of my sight. However, if they make physical contact with me, I may overwhelm them. I would like very much to meet any potential owners before adoption. My foster mom can arrange a visit with potential adopters to see my mannerisms and for me to see theirs. Who knows? Maybe my future owners will have active imaginations and try to teach me to speak English. They may even be able to teach me how to appreciate orange and pink sunsets. I live in north Georgia, near Chattanooga, Tennessee. I would be a wonderful companion who would love you and thrive as you love me in return. Jude is being fostered in northwest Georgia. His adoption fee is $350.00 to offset his vetting and to help our other Britttanys in need. He can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad. Adoption applications can be found on our website www.nbran.org. For more information, contact [email protected]

Adopt GA/Jude and Receive GA/Jude's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, GA/Jude's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is GA/Jude's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the GA/Jude, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming GA/Jude's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and GA/Jude was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, GA/Jude’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the GA/Jude’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, GA/Jude’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
