Meet Sammy! Sammy is a total character and a volunteer favorite around our office. He’s playful, loving, and incredibly sweet. One of his quirkiest favorite things? Asking you to turn on his Cat Alone app so he can have some fun chasing the digital mice! He also loves watching wildlife videos on YouTube TV — a true nature enthusiast in the making. Sammy enjoys attention and, once he trusts you, he’ll even cuddle up in your chair for some cozy company. Just a heads-up: he’s not a fan of being picked up, so he prefers to keep his paws on the ground. If you’re looking for a unique feline friend full of personality, Sammy’s your guy! Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions. To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at https://www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt . This appli cation does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them. Our adoption fee is $125 for all our cats. They have been given age-appropriate vaccinations, are spayed/neutered, have been feline leukemia/ feline aids tested, dewormed, have received flea prevention, and are micro-chipped. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sammy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sammy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sammy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sammy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sammy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
