About this Dog
A SWEET & SLIGHTLY TIMED FRIEND: Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 42 lbs. Hi, my name is Aimee! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control. I was a bit unsure when I first came to the shelter with other dogs barking, but the volunteers took their time with me, and – once out of my room, my personality started to shine through brightly. Now I’m in a great foster home thriving and am ready to find a family of my very own! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met dogs recently at Mostly Mutts and showed fearful, nervous behavior when they came near me. I was also fearful of dogs I saw during a sleepover in a home recently – even those smaller than me. It is possible that I would get along with a mellow, quiet dog. If you have a dog like this at home, let’s meet with my trainer! / I was interested in the kitty I saw from across the room while on my sleepover, but not in an aggressive way. I performed a well-known doggie/kitty duet: she growled and hissed while I quietly ‘sang’ and wagged my tail. If you have a dog-friendly (or dog-tolerant) kitty, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / I really enjoyed the company (and belly rubs) of the teenage kids who were at my recent sleepover. We played and snuggled, and I loved it! I also met my foster’s 8 grandchildren of various ages and was wonderful with them! So, if you have kids, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: Though scared upon first meeting the volunteers, I warmed up when they went slow with me. Once I was out and about, I relaxed more, and my true nature began to emerge. At my sleepover, I was super sweet, very playful, attentive, happy, and active with the mom and teens. I seemed fearful of the husband, so if there’s a man in my new family, they will need to love me and know that they may have to win me over. I went on a day trip recently with a nice volunteer and they said I was a sweet, attentive girl. My foster has also been taking me to her grandson’s baseball games where I have been exposed to a busier environment and it’s been great for building my confidence with men and other dogs. / My energy level is 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I know the ‘sit’ and ‘come’ commands so far and I’m sure you can teach me lots more! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts, as well as in the home where I had my sleepover. / My potty habits have been good in my foster home, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too! • LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy deck time with the family and playing with stuffed animals. Their fenced yard is great fun for running zoomies at top speed and exploring for sticks, etc. I would enjoy a fenced yard in my new home to play with you in. When it is time to chill, I love to collect all snuggles. I will hop right up in your lap for cuddles if you invite me. I also like riding in the car, so take me on lots of nice adventures! / Loud noises and passing cars startle me, so a quieter place to walk would be great! Also – not really a ‘dislike’, but I seem wary of men and prefer the company of women at the shelter and in my foster home. Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I am looking for a wonderful home with a loving family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Adopt Aimee and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Aimee's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Aimee's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Aimee, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Aimee's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Aimee was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Aimee’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Aimee’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Aimee’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
