About this Dog
LEARNING ABOUT THE GOOD LIFE: Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 45 lbs. Hi, I’m Marina! I came to Mostly Mutts through a nice family that helped me out of a tough situation, and I’m thrilled to be here learning what it means to become a family dog! Lots of things are new to me, but I’m adjusting well, and I look forward to the great life that awaits me. I got to participate in the prison/foster training program and learned a lot! Now I’m in a foster home, so I’ll be updated again soon. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I’ve met dogs at Mostly Mutts and was friendly with them and loved to play. I think I would really like a doggie friend in my new home to play with! So, if you have a very playful doggie at home already, that would be welcoming of a VERY energetic playmate, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / I met a cat recently in a temp. foster home and I was interested in them, though I frightened them by trying to chase them. Due to my playful nature, I don’t quite understand kitty boundaries, so it is probably best that I do not live with cats. / I recently met some nice children around 10 years old at Mostly Mutts and I liked them, so a home with kids aged 10+ could be a good fit for me, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: Everything was new to me when I arrived at Mostly Mutts, so it was quite the adjustment, but I sure am enjoying all the attention, good care and love I’m getting from the nice volunteers! I really like them and am friendly and very sweet with them. I’ve heard them say how wonderful I am too! I’ll very likely need some time to adjust in my new home since things are still very new to me, so I’m looking for a great family that will patiently introduce me to house sounds and smells, etc. I was able to experience some of these new things in the prison/foster training program, and they say I’m doing great! I take correction well and I have learned quickly what belongs to me and what does not. Please also be alert to doors being secure so I don’t get outside and get lost. / My energy level is 8-10, so I’m looking forward to daily exercise with my family. I might also be a good candidate for doggie daycare! • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program so I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners using my easy walk harness as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. I have been mouthy and give ‘puppy nibbles’ when I am so excited, especially first thing in the morning, so when I do this, please give me a firm ‘leave it’ so I know you are the boss. / My crate manners have been good in the prison/foster training program and at MM’s. / I’ve gotten used to the take-out schedule at Mostly Mutts and since then my potty habits have been good. Hopefully this will be the case in my new home too! • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love all the volunteers that come to spend time with me, and really enjoy cuddling with them after some running around and playing! I also love going for long walks as it helps me get my energy out! I ride well in the car, so take me on lots of adventures! I’m sure we will learn lots more things that I like as we get to know each other. / I wasn’t a huge fan of my first shelter bath, but I was sweet during it – simply tucking my head into the bather’s arm and chest. Loud noises and sudden movements have frightened me a bit also as I get used to everything new around me. A loud motorcycle passed me on a walk, and really frightened me and I redirected at my walker, so let’s find a quiet walking place. I am still learning about toys and which items in a home belong to me, so I may pick up something that is not mine. Please keep lots of Nylabone Antlers (my favorite!) around for me so I have something to chew on. I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I am taking an ongoing anxiety medication to help me adjust to my new indoor doggie life. I’m looking for a great family that will take the time to show me how great indoor life with a family can be. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Adopt Marina and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Marina's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Marina's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Marina, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Marina's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Marina was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Marina’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Marina’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Marina’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
