About this Dog
I rescued a 13 year old male toy poodle from the Fulton County Animal Shelter. When I got him, his hair was matted badly and had been left in a belly band for extended amounts of time to the point his hair was discolored from being covered up and he has acid burns on his penis from being against a urine soaked pad. Before he could settle in, my 3 year old grandchild laid on his back accidentally and he snapped at her. He has a bad hip and not sure why. He didn't break the skin on her arm but did bruise it. With that, my daughter has now decided she does not feel that my granddaughter is not safe around him and will not let her come around if he is there. So I have to find him a new home and I don't want him back at the animal shelter. He is a sweetheart and housebroken. He will stand at the door telling me he is ready to go out. I have already fallen in love with him. He has been great around my two goldens and cats. He deserves somewhere he can live the rest of his life out.

How will Jax receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Jax, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Jax's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jax was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jax’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Jax’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jax’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
