About this Dog
Breed: Pit Bull Terrier Gender: Male Estimated Date of Birth: April 23, 2015 Size: 45 lbs Location: Dallas, GA RESCUING VICTOR Victor was a cruelty case out of Newton County. He was found in a pen, tethered and couldn't reach food or water. Victor was stuck outside, starving to death. He was so thin, a woman's bracelet could've fit around him. At 5 years old, this poor guy had a body score of 0.75, weighing in at a scant 21 pounds when he should've been at least 50 pounds. Of course, Victor was also heartworm positive. While most rescues were shutting down intakes due to COVID-19, we kept going and Victor got his freedom ride on April 21, 2020. ABOUT VICTOR Victor has put on weight and is a happy, healthy boy. He is a quiet, sweet boy who is housebroken and crate-trained. He underwent heartworm treatment in August 2020 and was neutered in January 2021. He is ready for an adoptive home that can give him tons of love and a chance at having a family of his owner which he has never had. He is also in need of a foster home if anyone is interested in fostering him! He would do best as an only dog in the home and with children 13 and older if there are children in the home. He will need some help with basic training but we know he would make a fantastic companion! Please give Victor a chance! Our adoption fee is $300. All dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, on heartworm prevention, and are fed top of the line grain-free food.

Adopt Victor and Receive Victor's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Victor's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Victor's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Victor, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Victor's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Victor was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Victor’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Victor’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Victor’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
