About this Cat
Back in February, Frankie started coming to our door almost regularly and would beg to come inside. As cat owners, we couldn't resist and let her come in to stay with us and she was very happy to be indoors finally. Frankie is a very social cat and will follow you everywhere you go and talk to you and even sometimes sing! She loves people a lot and does not mind being held like a baby. She loves kneading on soft blankets, playing with spring toys, and jingling balls. She is an active cat and is very playful as well. She loves cuddling and rubbing on you as you are walking around and she's always curious about what you're up to.
Frankie is a really sweet cat and she adjusted to being an indoor cat very easily. She is litter box trained and knows how to use cat scratchers. She has never scratched us either so she knows not to use her nails on us. She also likes being in the kitchen with us, but she has never jumped on the counters. She is smart and quickly learned that her treats are hidden in the pantry so she likes running to the door whenever we're close enough. Frankie responds to her name when you call out to her and is also responsive to random pet names that are associated with the word Frankie. We frequently go on long road trips, and have taken Frankie on 2 or 3 road trips and she had adjusted well with sitting in the car and staying at a new location.
We were surprised to find out she was not microchipped so we got her spayed and up to date on her shots, including Rabies, FIV, FVRCP, and leukemia. Her approximate age is 2 years. Unfortunately for us, Frankie does not like other cats at all and we already have a 9 year old house cat who's been with us since he was a kitten. We have tried integrating them slowly and done all the steps recommended over the course of the months, but she will still freeze up when she sees our house cat and hiss at him if he gets too close. Our house cat is a lazy orange cat who keeps to himself but his presence alone is enough to get her stressed. As sad as it is, we don't think Frankie will ever come to terms with Koopa, our other cat and we think the best course of action would be to find her a new home where she can comfortably be herself with the right owner. We are not sure if she gets along with dogs, but can only imagine she doesn't, since our cat is smaller and more relaxed than a dog would be.
We are hoping to find someone who can come rescue Frankie. She would be very happy to be somewhere she can call home. We would like to provide you with her bed, blanket, and some of her favorite toys so that she can continue to enjoy them. We are located in Dallas, GA but are willing to come meet you somewhere in the middle.

How will Frankie receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Frankie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Frankie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Frankie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Frankie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Frankie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Frankie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
