About this Dog
Name: Willow Breed: Shepherd/Border Collie Sex: Female Approx. DOB: 10/20/2022 Weight: 25 lbs RESCUING WILLOW We received a call asking to help a family of pups in Temple. The female and male parents were truly feral, living independently for many years, but they also had a few puppies. We spent weeks trying to gain their trust, setting humane traps and cameras with a lot of waiting and midnight trips to check. After a few long weeks, we finally caught one of the puppies. We named her Willow. Though safe now, she has no idea how to be a domesticated dog and immediately shuts down. We knew this puppy would need a special kind of foster home, a quiet home, and a family's patience to help her grow. Thankfully FTTF has some really amazing volunteers. Willow received her FREEDOM RIDE on 8/9/23. ABOUT WILLOW Willow is your typical puppy, but not only is she learning obedience training, but also just how to be a dog coming from her situation. Her nicknames include B, Bea, Bean, Beanie, etc. It started with WillaBee for whatever reason and has continued to morph. She is going to be a tall and long girl. Willow would learn so much from other dogs in the home and owners who want to spend a lot of time with her. Her foster siblings have been trying to keep up with her puppy energy and for the most part, they have been good together, even letting her sit on them (she has a lack of personal space). She is mostly submissive and will roll over to show her belly if the playing gets too rough. Every once in a while, she will get overstimulated while playing and gets snappy, so we will have a timeout. Her crate training is complete and she loves to eat her food in there and sleep at night, but is also comfortable sleeping in the human bed. She will not have an accident in a crate, but if you leave her out loose in a room she could. Willow has been as great as a puppy can be with small children and kids. She has energy, so not knowing the comfort levels of kids is something she cannot decipher, and just wants to wiggle and give kisses if that means knocking them down. Older children who can run and play with her would be best, she would love to have a human best friend! Leash walking and normal obedience training are key for her. She does much better walking with another dog, knowing that every step is okay. Her absolute favorite activity is being outdoors, even just laying in the grass watching the property, she likes a good vantage point. She settles for car rides and just enjoys it. She would be a wonderful family pet! ADOPTING WILOW… Willow is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped. She is on monthly preventative. She is eating high-quality grain-free dry dog food. Her adoption fee is $300. Adopt Willow and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Willow's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Willow's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Willow, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Willow's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Willow was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Willow’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Willow’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Willow’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
