Hi, my name is Rowdy. I've been at the shelter for quite awhile now and I can't understand why. Maybe it's the name. And maybe I WAS R owdy in my younger days but now , as a more mature husky of about 10 years, I am pretty chill. Don't get me wrong, I still have plenty of pep in my step. I love going outside for walks or just exploring all the wonderful smells of nature. I can't remember the last time I was inside but laying on my bed next to my family and just talking about our days sounds so wonderful! I really hope someone comes for me soon so I can experience all the things I dream about; like being loved, getting warm baths, having someone brush me till I am really shiny, watching some TV, going for walks and maybe even having another older furry sibling to spend time with. I know there are alot of us out there looking for the same thing so I will pray really hard that someone sees the HOPE in my eyes and decides it's ME they want to join their family. If I am, please email my friends at [email protected] and tell them you want to meet the handsome older gentleman in the black and white coat that just got a bath JUST FOR YOU! I will continue to be patient until then. Rowdy is such a great boy adoption fees are sponsored.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rowdy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rowdy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rowdy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rowdy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
