Cupid is a 9 month old female Hound/Pit mix, who is ready to be someone’s loyal companion and ultimate lovebug. She currently shares a pen with her brother Comet, and they both happily greet people as they approach, always eager for a little affection and more than willing to return it. Cupid is an active playful girl, but she has also quickly picked up good leash manners, showing signs of being a fast learner. One especially touching moment came when she met a small toddler - without being asked, Cupid calmly sat as the child approached and waited patiently for the greeting, showing incredible manners and sweetness for such a young pup. Her sweet friendly nature and eagerness to connect will make her a wonderful companion for a loving home. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cupid was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cupid’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cupid’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cupid’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
