Prancer is an 8 month old Hound/Pit mix, who has a heart full of love and a nose ready for adventure. She’s already picked up leash manners like a pro and loves nothing more than strolling through the park, sniffing out the world one scent at a time. Prancer arrived at the shelter with her siblings and seems to get along well with other dogs (although a Meet n Greet is always recommended if you have other dogs in the household). She’s eager to please her human friends and is at that perfect age to soak up new commands and routines. Having had so little in life, she doesn’t ask for much … but that just means she deserves that much more! This girl is so deserving of a loving home, where she can finally know what it’s like to be a cherished member of a family. Give her that, and she will fill your life with love, gratitude, and joy beyond measure. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Prancer was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Prancer’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Prancer’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Prancer’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
