Sugar is a 10 month old female Boxer mix, who is as sweet as her name and ready to sprinkle joy all over your life! This super happy girl is always brimming with energy, making every day an adventure just waiting to happen. She's your go-to gal for making the most of any outing, ready to explore whatever exciting things come your way! Sugar is incredibly playful, and loves to bound around the park, chase toys, and investigate every fascinating new smell. Plus she always enjoys playing with other dogs and romping through the park together. And get this – she's a total water baby! You'll often find her happily trying to play in water bowls or sticking her whole face in them (which explains why she might have a wet face in one of her pictures – too cute!). Beyond her playful antics, Sugar is incredibly sweet and oh-so-lovable. She has such a precious face, and after she's had her zoomies out, she'll happily settle down right next to you, soaking up the sunshine and simply enjoying your company. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sugar was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sugar’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sugar’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sugar’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
