Itsa is a 5 month old female Lab mix, who is such a lovable little pup! She has a glossy black coat, along with a distinctive speckled white/black mix on her chest. She is sometimes shy at first, but has much more confidence when she is taken to the quieter park area. Once in the park, her super cute personality comes out, and she enjoys everything - playing, romping around with her sister Icy, and getting yummy treats. And sweet Itsa especially loves getting attention and pets! She just leans right in to you to get more. Overall, that is her dream - a loving home that provides her with the attention and care for her to thrive, and allows her to blossom into the wonderful companion she was meant to be. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Itsa was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Itsa’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Itsa’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Itsa’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
