About this Dog
Violet is a 2 year old female Catahoula Leopard Hound mix, who is absolutely stunning with her unique multi-colored Merle coat. And as an added bonus, she has electric blue eyes that further add to her gorgeous looks. When she first arrived at the shelter, she was a bit unsure of new people, but with patience and gentle care from her handlers, she has made wonderful progress. Once Violet gets to know you, she becomes a devoted companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side. She likes staying close to her favorite people, and will often choose hanging out nearby rather than exploring the far reaches of the park. She enjoys going on walks and does well on a leash, making strolls together a great way to build trust and connection. Violet really thrives with one-on-one attention and has shown she is a fast learner, eager to please and form strong bonds. She’s looking for a family who can offer her the love and affection she deserves, and in return, she will give you her full devotion and whole heart. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.

Adopt Violet and Receive Violet's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Violet's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Violet's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Violet, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Violet's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Violet was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Violet’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Violet’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Violet’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
