About this Cat
Hey, I'm Markos. I'm a grey and white boy kitty, and I'm about one year old. I am pretty friendly from behind the bars of my cage, though I might be a bit skittish if you actually open my cage up and try to pet me. I can't help it; it's just pretty overwhelming here at the shelter, and I'm in the hall where I hear the dogs barking. I don't know if I like dogs or not, but I don't love their barking here. I'm a curious guy though, and I do like to play with toys if you bring me some to play with! [Markos is currently available for adoption at Fur Babies Cat Cafe in Carrollton.] The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.

Adopt Markos and Receive Markos's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Markos's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Markos's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Markos, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Markos's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Markos was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Markos’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Markos’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Markos’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
