Leon is an absolute sweetheart! He adores attention and enjoys being petted. With an adorable habit of sitting like a meerkat to invite tummy rubs, he also has a fondness for toys, particularly balls. Leon has a medium energy level and gets along well with female dogs. He exudes happiness, with his tail wagging non-stop, and surprisingly, he even enjoys his crate! In fact, he often chooses to settle in there instead of lounging on the couch. A true food lover, he’s a little butterball, and his foster family affectionately nicknamed him Sweet Potato! Leon is currently in a foster home and below is a little bit of what his foster mom had to say about him. “Leon is probably one of the easiest ones that I’ve fostered. He just loves life. Tail is always wagging. Loves it inside, loves it outside. Let us give him a bath and cut his nails. Sleeps in his crate all night - not even a peep! Enjoys being with you but also can entertain himself with a good stuffed animal. He’s just happy no matter what he’s doing. He’s pretty perfect and anyone that adopts him will be lucky!”

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Leon was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Leon’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Leon’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Leon’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
