About this Dog
Nala is an angel. We got her when she was about 4 months old, and she has been through a lot with us. My husband got her from someone that had found her on the streets of ATL. She was just a stray puppy being abused by a group of neighborhood kids. She is extremely patient, and she LOVES to snuggle. She knows basic commands, and will give you high fives any time she’s asked. She’s only bad on a leash -she pulls- we lived in an apartment when my husband brought her home (without talking to me first). We’ve had some life events happen, and it has become my job to find her a new home, and all the shelters around us are full, so they will not take her unless I consent to them putting her down as soon as she is admitted. I cannot do that to this perfect girl, she deserves a loving home and a beautiful life. As of 7/9/25, she is fully vaccinated and I am working towards getting her spayed, but if someone adopts her before that procedure takes place, I am happy to contribute to the cost of her spay!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Nala was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Nala’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Nala’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Nala’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
