About this Dog
Solo is a handsome, affectionate Siberian Husky with a great balance of energy and calm. He loves being active and exploring outside, but once he’s home, he’s surprisingly relaxed and happy to settle in with his people.
He is leash-trained, knows basic commands like sit and stay, and does well on regular walks without constantly pulling. Solo has no food guarding or separation anxiety and has not shown any major behavioral or medical issues. He is also up to date on his vaccinations.
Like most huskies, Solo would do best with someone who can give him regular exercise, attention, and room to enjoy his energetic side. He loves chew toys and treats and has a playful personality without being nonstop indoors.
Solo originally came into my care when his previous owner could no longer keep him. What was supposed to be temporary became permanent when that owner stopped responding. With my current work and living situation changing, I want to make sure Solo ends up somewhere he can get the time and lifestyle he deserves.
The ideal home for Solo would be with an active individual, couple, or family who understands larger, energetic breeds and is looking for a loyal companion. He’s a great dog, and the goal is simply to find him a stable, loving home where he can thrive long-term.

How will Solo receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Solo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Solo's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Solo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Solo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Solo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Solo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
