About this Cat
My name is Trish Szumowski. My sister, Elizabeth Allen, has loved and cared for Leo and Phoebe for 8 years. She had an accident and can no longer care for them. I live and travel in a Motor Home and have 2 cats myself so I cannot keep them. I’m currently in Athens, GA . Their placement is urgent as my hubby and I will be leaving the area mid-September. The cats are highly bonded brother-and-sister pair of all-black cats. We are entirely willing to drive up to 3 hours to bring them to a facility or a foster home if you have an open placement. Here are the critical details regarding their health and care: Status: 100% strictly indoor cats. Medical: Both are completely up to date on all vaccinations. Special Needs: The female has diabetes, but it is highly managed and stable. She does not require injections— only a dose of liquid medicine in her food daily. They are otherwise very healthy, sweet, and incredibly loving. We are seeking a strict no-kill environment or foster network because we want to guarantee their safety and ensure their medical needs continue to be met together. If your organization is able to accept them, I am more than happy to provide a financial donation / dowry to help cover the cost of their food, litter, and her medication to ease their transition into your care.
