About this Dog
I need to re home my mothers dog and was wondering this is something yall do or if you can point me in the right direction. My elderly mother is currently in the hospital and isn’t going to be able to go back to her home when she leaves (will likely be going to senior living or possible nursing home). She has the sweetest Schnoodle, Odie, who we need to find a new home. He’s an older little guy, she’s had him for about 8 years but got him from a friend who passed away from cancer (where he was her cuddle therapy dog, sitting with her thru chemo). He’s probably about 10. He’s got some cataracts, but we don’t think he’s fully blind. And he certainly doesn’t act like it. This doggo has no idea he’s a senior citizen, he still loves going on walks, runs around playing, and is very, very agile. He’s great with other animals (he got his name bc he used to have a cat brother named Garfield- so they were Garfield and Odie), and he is wonderful with children, toddlers, and babies. My mother was taken to the hospital Sunday June 8th, and I’ve since had to board Odie (we kept thinking my mother was going to get out of the hospital, but they keep finding more medical issues). And now we still don’t know when she’s getting out and she won’t be able to live on her own. Odie is such a cuddle bug, still adventurous, despite his age, and is a very easy going dog. He just wants a person to hang out with, and he’ll be a happy camper.

100% of Odie's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Odie.
Adopt Odie and Receive Odie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Odie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$10 is Odie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Odie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Odie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Odie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Odie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Odie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Odie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
