🐾 Meet Callie! 🐾 (Born March 8, 2023 – Almost 1 Year Old, Female, Calico)
Hello, my name is Callie, and I’m a fierce little explorer looking for my forever home! I was the smallest kitten in my litter, but don’t let that fool you—I have a huge personality. I’m independent, playful, and love climbing to the highest places I can find. If you have a tall cat tree, shelves, or even just a cozy perch by a window, I’ll be in my happy place!
I’m not the cuddly, lap-cat type, and I prefer my personal space when it comes to being held. However, I do love head rubs—if you scratch my cheeks just right, I’ll even make a cute little crunching noise with my jaw! I’m a bit skittish and tend to hide in small spaces when I feel nervous, but with patience and understanding, I’ll come out to play.
I haven’t been around dogs, and I’m pretty defensive toward other cats, so I’d be happiest as a solo cat. I might tolerate one other feline friend, but I’d prefer to be queen of the house. A quiet home or an active one would both be fine, as long as I have plenty of playtime and places to climb! I do have a special request—I love fresh, running water, so a fountain would be the perfect way to keep me hydrated.
I’m not yet fixed and likely need some vaccinations, but I’m ready to find a loving home that understands my independent spirit. If you’re looking for a playful, energetic, and unique little companion, I’d love to meet you!

How will Callie receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Callie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Callie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Callie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Callie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Callie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Callie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
