She thrives with lots of exercise and play, so a home with a big backyard to run in, or a family who enjoys long walks, hikes, or even runs, would be perfect. She’s not one to lounge the day away — she’s happiest when her mind and body are busy. Meet Cece – The Life of the Paw-ty! Our newest intake, Cece, is a 5-month-old Doodle mix with a heart as big as her puppy energy. She’s currently living her best foster life with our dear friend and previous adopter, Rosa, who’s making sure she’s spoiled, loved, and learning all the good doggy manners. Cece is that perfect blend of sweet and spunky. She’s recently spayed, has a healthy appetite, and plays like it’s her full-time job. Toys? She LOVES them — squeaky, bouncy, chewy, you name it. She’s great with other dogs and can often be found trying to get everyone in the room to join her play session. She walks beautifully on a leash, keeping pace like a pro, and she’s a big fan of outdoor adventures. She’s also a bit of a chatterbox — Cece isn’t shy about expressing her opinion, whether she’s telling you it’s playtime, dinner time, or “hey, I missed you.” One thing Cece hasn’t mastered yet? Being alone. She thrives when she’s with her people and would love a home where she’s not left solo for long stretches. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cece was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cece’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cece’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cece’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
