✨ Meet Cassidy — The Life of the Lobby & Your Future Adventure Buddy! ✨ Cassidy has been with us for far too long, and honestly? We don’t get it. This 1.5-year-old Aussie/Cur mix is sweet, playful, affectionate, and totally ready to be someone’s everything. Cassidy lives with his amazing foster June (they/them), and he even gets to go to work with them — where he proudly greets visitors in the lobby like he’s the Employee of the Month (because he totally is). He loves people, gets along great with other dogs, and lights up every room he enters. Cassidy is a 51-lb bundle of happy energy who lives for fetch, tug-of-war, rubber balls, and long walks or runs. He’s also an A+ snuggler who loves to curl up and rest his head on your chest after playtime. He’s a big fan of music, TV time, and just being near his people. He’s made great progress with training and is housebroken and improving every day with leash manners and crate comfort. Like many young dogs, Cassidy does have some separation anxiety, so he’s looking for a patient home that can help him continue to grow confident when left alone. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cassidy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cassidy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cassidy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cassidy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cassidy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
