About this Dog
Meet Sailor. I am a small Bernese Mountain Dog but won't be for long. I am getting bigger everyday and could very well be 100+lbs when full grown. I am just a puppy now and learning that the world around me is awesome and so much fun. My forever family will need to be able to accommodate some special requests. I will need a large fenced yard. I love to run around outside and it's when I am happiest but I have lots of hair and get hot quickly so being able to come inside will be very important too. I LOVE OLDER KIDS!!!! My foster family has 2, they give me lots of snuggles and attention. They throw the ball, play tug of war, and run around. I love to chase them. Here at my foster home I also have 2 dog friends. They are the best. I am really hoping to have some dog pals to play with at my new home. I get lonely and bored without them and then into trouble. I am what they consider a "large breed dog" That means I will eat a lot, need lots of exercise and walks, and maybe have special veterinary needs as I get older. Please don't apply for me because I am cute and little now, I won't always be and my new family needs to understand this. I will need to have frequent brushing and be groomed. My hair gets longer as I get older and I like to look my best. I am doing great with my puppy training. My foster family tells me I am a very smart boy. I cry when I need to go outside and I'm using the doggie door like a pro but remember I am still a baby and accidents happen. I still need to be watched when roaming the house or I may leave you a little surprise. My new family will have to continue to help me learn how to be the best boy I can be. I have a good start though. You will get lucky with me as your pet companion. I am the sweetest little guy and eager to please my humans. If you think your family might be the perfect match for me, fill out my adoption application at www.4lucky dogs.org. I can't wait to meet my forever family.
Contribute to Sailor's Stash!

100% of Sailor's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Sailor.
Adopt Sailor and Receive Sailor's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sailor's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Sailor's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Sailor, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sailor's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sailor was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sailor’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sailor’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sailor’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
