About this Dog
I am King, a gentle giant in spirit, not just in size! I am looking for my forever home and currently taking applications. I get along with my foster dog friends and their feline siblings. I get along well with the dogs and mostly ignore the cats. I usually walk well on a leash, but still get excited when I see another dog or a squirrel. I know some commands - sit, stay (mostly) and drop it. I LOVE my stuffed animals and like carrying them around the house. I will play fetch, but don't always bring the toy back, so my foster parents can get their steps coming back to me! My favorite thing in the world is food, especially catching a treat in mid air. Second to treats, I love butt scratches or a gentle face massage. I am adjusting well to my foster home and really enjoying all the love and affection I am getting. I would love to find an active family, but as long as you like long walks we will get along just fine!

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, King's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and King was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, King’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the King’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, King’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
